2013 workflow decisions based on Managed Metadata terms

I have seen various postings on formatting GUID references to access Managed Metadata terms. How does one evaluate (IF or WAIT) the different terms of a term set in a workflow? Could someone provide a simple syntax example that works in SPD 2013. Thank you!
