The data source file is accessed through a redirection from a different domain infopath

Trying to use a web service as a data connection in an InfoPath form on my 2013 farm.

the URL I feed it is http and it gives me the following error...

The data source file is accessed through a redirection from a different domain, which is not allowed. If you want to use this data source file, copy it to a location within your security domain. Access is denied.

Now I'm able to browse sites in my farm as http and they will transform in to https with no problem...I have the AAM's in place as well.

This actually doesn't present an issue in another farm I have that is close in configuration.

To make this work I have to use https instead of http...

what am I overlooking here?
