SharePoint 2010 - default metadata when adding a document

I have a document library where I have documents sorted by a metadata field. The hierarchy is 4 layers deep. So when I am on a 4th layer term set and click "Add a document", I can choose the document that I want to upload but have to manually type in the metadata.

Is there a chance that SP takes the current "location" and sets the metadata field with a default value of the "location"?
