Upload multiple files - version comments not saved

I'm uploading multiple documents with Version history ON.

When I upload multiple documents and add "version comments," the version comment is not saved (ie. when I view version history, the comments I enter do not show). How do I ensure the comments I enter on a multiple document upload are flowing through?
