Workflow - how to handle a lookup and redirect in an url

I am new to SharePoint Designer I've created a workflow which sends out an email for managment to approve. In the current url i have a link to the list with a lookup for current item ID (.../Approval.aspx?ID=[%Current Item:ID%]) and this works fine. The problem comes in when i want to thereafter redirect to a thank you page, in the past i would basically use the "?" and then add the thank you url but this does'nt work in this instant as the first record now gets shown and it seems like the lookup is being ignored. My guess that it is not possible to have 2 "?" in 1 url link.

any help on getting this work would be appreciated
