We currently have a SharePoint 2013 Managed Metadata hierarchy similar to below:
Term Set 'Departments'
---'All Departments'
---'HR'
---'Sales'
---'Purchasing'
and would like this to look more like:
Term Set 'Departments'
---'All Departments'
--- ---'HR'
--- ---'Sales'
---'Purchasing'
that is, with HR and Sales 'underneath' All Departments, and leave Purchasing on it's own.
What are the repercussions in moving the terms around in regard to managed metadata based search filtering, or general list based filtering (i suppose even managed navigation). Does anything break?
My goal is to have search/list filtering for 'All Departments' bring up everything in and under that term, instead of tagging an item as both 'All Departments' AS WELL AS 'Sales'.
Thank you in advance.
