Friendls URl on metadata colums

I have got a document library with a metadata column.

Document library:

• My Document

Metadata column: - Category:A1, A2, A3, A4, A5

I have activated the metadata navigation option, so I can filter through each category. If I click for example on A3 I get the URL for category A3. So far so good, but I want to use this URL somewhere else. For example in a promoted link list, but the there for the URL is tool long(more the 255 characters). Is there a way to create a more friendly URL based on Metadata columns?

I could create a view, but than what it if the Category Name A3 changes over the time.
