Sharepoint 2013 - Space Bar Action NOT Recognized

I'm building a site in Sharepoint 2013 and have a strange problem. The space bar is not recognized. If I edit a web part and try to change the title, for example, to "The Web Part" all of my spaces are ignored and I get "WebPartTitle" instead. This is happening throughout the entire site.

Any idea what would be causing such strange behavior?
