Ad-Hoc Reports in SSRS Sharepoint 2013

Is it possible to generate models in SSRS from SharePoint Lists. When trying to create Models, through Report Builder Model as SharePoint List as datasource, following error is displayed.

“Data extension does not support model generation. ---> Microsoft.ReportingServices.Diagnostics.Utilities.ModelGenerationNotSupportedException: Data extension does not support model generation.” These are the steps we followed,

1. Created the shared data source with the required properties.For connection string, site URL was mentioned.


2. Create report builder model using the previously created data source, selected Datasource Link by clicking [..] option


3. On click of Ok above mentioned error came up.
