Multiple Links for events on Calendar views SP2010

I have been asked to provide an alternate link on calendar events. The OOB link opens the calendar item, but the 2nd link is to open an associated file. For example there is a Power Point Presentation in a document libray covering an upcoming event called "event.pptx". The requirement is to have 2 links on the calendar view, the first would open the event, but the second link would open the "Event.pptx". I thought I could do this with a hyperlink column, and using the hyperlink column as the sub heading, but it only displays as text.

The endstate here is that management would like to be able to open the associated files without actually opening the event in the calendar.
