Set image of a field in a Custom List according to the status of Workflow

I have to design an out of the box custom list which contains some Objective and their targets. I have to design a workflow which assigns tasks to three different groups serially. There is one status column in which I have change the square image(red, green, yellow) with respect to change in workflow status. If Workflow status = In Progress then square image = Yellow square If Workflow status = Approved then square image = Green square If Workflow status = Rejected then square image = Red Square
