I have a solution with 4 projects, each project is targeted to a specific site definition. These sites will share the same master page except for small changes like the appearance of one user control in a master page or not. For example it would be like this:
Site1: Will have the custom search control
Site2: Will not have the custom search control
Site3: Will have the custom search control
Site4: Will not have the custom search control
Should I copy the master page for each site definition and place it in that site's project? Or should they reference the same master page? What's the best practice in this case? Thank you.
