Sync Repeating Table with Another List

I have a form library template that looks like this:

At the bottom I have a repeating table, where employees can be added as they're assigned to an event. I have another SharePoint list where I am tracking attendance, so I want to create a new entry in that second list whenever somebody submits a new form. I have tried creating a workflow to sync the two lists, but my variables in the repeating table section are not in the menu to select from.
