Get a list of all sites user has edit rights in SharePoint 2013

We have a requirement where we have to display a list of all sites in which a user has contribute rights. We have many site collections and inside each site collection we have many sub sites. Users have contribute rights in some sites of this complete hierarchy. How can we achieve this? can we use searc, REST APIs, JSOM, CSOM or we have to use SSOM for this? If SSOM is the only option, how can we achieve it using SSOM?
