I'm migrating MySites content database from my old 2010 farm to a new 2013 farm. I'm keeping the site collections in 2010 mode and planning an upgrade to those later.
After mounting the restored database everything looks normal except when I go to my site, it doesn't give me my personal URL. Like it doesn't recognize me as the owner, even though my 'PersonalURL' property is correct. So when I click on 'My Content', the URL it takes me to is:

If I login as a person who didn't have a 2010 site collection, the collection gets created and everything works as expected. When I look at the user profile properties via Powershell they look the same as the current users.
It's almost like Sharepoint isn't recognizing me as the owner of the site.
The MySite Host is setup as claims based and I did do the procedure to convert the webapp security to claims based just like I did on the portal web app.
Any help is much appreciated.
