Set App External Content Type Connection Settings to OData Service Endpoint During Deployment

Is there anyway I can set the connection settings for the apps external content type during deployment/activation.

The OData endpoint is hardcoded in the ECT file to my dev environment.

Is there a way I can make that configurable, so I dont have to remember to change it before I create an app package?
