SharePoint 2010 Pages document rendered differently across browsers

A user has created an aspx page in a site collections' Pages Document Library. The issue is that the page is rendered differently when surfaced across various browsers. Content does not appear to be missing, just organized in a different manner. For instance, a paragraph rendered at the top of the page in IE is rendered somewhere in the middle of the page in Chrome for the same page. I checked the page is checked in and published and I have also tried re-publishing the page, but the odd behavior still persists. Please help.
