Recently I have been experiencing issues opening documents in edit mode instead they default to open in Read-Only mode, which I believe FFSHTTP protocol is causing the issue since I was able to open the documents by applying the registry FSSHTTPoff to Office see entry below:
[HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Common\Internet]
"FSSHTTPOff"=Dword:0x00000001
Usually it takes a iisreset to get everything working again without applying the FSSHTTPoff registry fix but this not permanent solution. Any suggestions why this issue is occurring or ways to resolve this?
