We ran into a problem with creating multiple sites from a template. To use the drop-off library, we went through all the Content Organizer Rules and replaced the site template's name with our current site name, like this:
intranet/sites/parent_site/TEMPLATE/some_documents //changed that
intranet/sites/parent_site/NEWSITE/some_documents //to this
But after, when checking the content types within the drop-off library, many were not visible under new button and one content type (not the same one for every site created from the template) appeared multiple times (happened for all three sites, looks like a SharePoint bug).
Now, for two of the sites I was able to make the other content types visible and have that one trouble-making content type show only once. But for the third site I kept getting an error (I think this might be another SharePoint bug). The error was something generic, just showing the error message and the id, to which we don't have access to.
Even if that error was a singular case, is there a better way to deal with this stuff? Any answer regarding using the drop-off library on a site created from a template would be appreciated.
