With a new site, the users have been shown the light and are now good SharePoint citizens: we are relying on metadata instead of folders for navigation and organization. We had an interesting idea this morning: Is there a way to publish search results as a WebDAV share? Even if it is just read-only (instead of honoring per-item permissions that might exist) that would be helpful.
Has anyone seen something like this? Maybe I just need to look at it from a different perspective?
