Assign Permissions to Document on Upload Workflow

I am using SPD 2010 and I am wondering if the following workflow is possible: I would like to have a workflow that when a document is uploaded by a user, the workflow assigns read permissions to that document for the security that the uploader belongs to.

So essentially when a user uploads a document, all other users in the same security group should have read access to the document.

I've searched for answers, but unless I'm missing some keyword nothing useful seems to be popping up.
