SP2013 Visio Services Filter list data on Date

I have data in a SP list, one of the fields holds a date. I would like to visually present this data using Visio Services.

Is there a way to create a calendar that is used as a filter for my data? E.g. My viso drawing would update based on the selected date For day x the data would give a green visual state in viso For day y the data is diffent and would be a red visual state in viso
