Add links to suitebar(without removing existing links)

As there are a lot of tutorials present online which just replace the links(NewsFeed, OneDrive..) with the custom ones.

But I need to keep the original ones and append my custom links at the end.

Is there a simple way of ding it by overriding the delegate control?
