Need to list Search Refiner by Month in date/time field

Large Repository of documents that contain reports by type, subtype, year, month. Page rendered using CSWP - Managed all in search refiners BUT cannot change the order of the months in friendly order (i.e. Jan, Feb, etc)

I do have both Date/Time AND Month (Text) columns available at my disposal.

Suggestions/approaches anyone?

NOTE: Not looking at data order but the order of the Search refiners
